Trafficlear recently won the contract to convert 32 Toyota HiLux for the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Authority. WYFRS are the 4th largest Metropolitan Fire and Rescue Authority in the country, serving a population of over 2.2m residents covering an area of 800 square miles. The project involved the installation of interior and exterior emergency and work lights including the nForce lightbar, grille lights, headlight flashers, a number plate fend-off with blue LEDs all from SoundOff Signal. All the lighting and electrical outputs including runlock, on the vehicle were controlled by an Ideatec POLARIS and Touchscreen.
