Traffex 2017 Visit

On Tuesday the 4th April, the Trafficlear team went to visit Traffex 2017 at the NEC, Birmingham. Traffex is an exhibition that showcases the latest technological advancements in the UK’s road network; it is Europe’s largest event dedicated to road, traffic, parking and traffic. The companies that visit and exhibit at Traffex are constantly looking to deliver expert solutions to the road and highways industry. This exhibition is always a key visit for us here at Trafficlear as it allows us to research new areas of development in the market and keep up with the current demand; Dave and Andy also visited InterTraffic in Amsterdam last year..

Traffex 2017 was an interesting day for the Trafficlear team, we visited our lovely customer WJ Roadmarking, who had some of our products on the vehicles they exhibited. They proudly showed the visitors of Traffex the Ideatec GO112 programmable controller, complete with touchscreen. The GO112 system is extensively used by WJ to automate controls on their vehicles – some which are very sophisticated; and to enhance safety for operatives. More can be seen in articles on the WJ website.

We also visited the Hitex stand, to see another of our great customers, Mike Oakes from Somerford Equipment. Somerford Equipment vehicles include various products from the Ideatec and Trafficlear range. It is great to see our customers achieving growth by consistently delivering great value to the market they serve, as well as, in the case of Somerford, finding new niche markets to service. It’s even better when they do this by using products that we have supplied to them !!Image result for archway roadmaster

Last but not least, we got a chance to catch up with Archway Products, based in Ireland; so due to them being ‘across the Irish Sea’, every opportunity to keep a strong relationship with this great group of people is key !! Let’s face it the Archway Roadmaster
pothole repair vehicle is much needed on UK roads.

All in all we learnt a lot at Traffex 2017, as you can see below, Dave (Technical Director) and Andy (Operations Director) seemed to be enjoying their day out of the office !!
